About Kaleidoscope
The word ‘kaleidoscope’ is derived from the Ancient Greek word καλός (kalos, meaning ‘beautiful, beauty’), εἶδος (‘form’, ‘shape’) and σκοπέω (‘to look to, to examine’). It can therefore be translated as ‘observation of beautiful forms.’ As an optical instrument with two or more reflecting surfaces tilted to each other, the result is a constantly changing view.
Similarly, Kaleidoscope Music is about observing beautiful music from different angles, and connecting people in the process. 100% of the profits go to charity, since the label is about music and people, rather than money. On [PRISM] parties, new DJ’s are given a chance to showcase their talents, while guests are able to donate to charity if they had a good time. Because at Kaleidoscope we believe: what goes around comes around, so let’s make it count.
